Nyamira Rural Women Farmers Cooperative Society Ltd is one of Kenya's fastest-growing women-led agricultural cooperatives. Established in 2021 with 30 founding members, the cooperative has grown to over 605 active members across Nyamira North Sub-County. We empower women and youth through climate-smart agriculture, value addition, aggregation, and market access. Today, we aggregate over 60 tonnes of African Indigenous Vegetables annually, generate KES 3.9 million in annual sales, and pioneer an innovative banana circular economy model.
